If you look at the stone with eyes of your heart You will understand that stones speak And water heals, giving you life.

Shairy's friend Vijali Hamilton who designed and directed this sculpture has this to say about Pachacamac and indigenous Andean spirituality:

"From within this immense stone emerges a single face -- that of Pachacamac, representing the integration of male and female essential qualities. The sculpture reflects ancient roots of indigenous Andean culture. The portrayal of Pachacamac also expresses hope for the Millennium: that men and women live in harmony and equality. A rising sun shines forth from the stone, heralding a vision of peace for the 21st century. A crescent moon and the rising sun together further echo the harmony of male and female energies in the universe. An immense ear of corn, ancient Andean symbol, rises up from rich soil at the base of the sculpture, symbolizing nourishment for Mother Earth’s children.

Don Jose Shairy Quimbo

Indigenous Healer and Philosopher from the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.

Taki Samy is a ceremony that invokes cosmic power for healing. it harmonizes energetic music with dance movements and indigenous exercises.

In his healing ceremonies, Don Jose uses the four sacred elements; air, fire, water and earth, combined with instruments and sounds, shamanic breath and crystals. He uses instruments made of condor bones and feathers, ocarinas (pre-Columbian ceramic instruments) and the conch shell which brings forth the Divine Voice of God, putting order into our lives.

Don Jose (Shairy Quimbo)

The spirit of the mountains, lakes and trees lay dormant for 500 years. It is now the time of renewal which will come alive through ceremonies with the sacred instruments of condor feathers, bones of condor and deer, the ceramic acorina flute, and the conch shell.

Shairy Quimbo Don Jose received the healer's mission from the sacred mountain, Imbabura and the sacred lake Qi-Kocha. Shairy came from the professions of law and politics to follow the path of a healer. He diagnosis with with aura reading and candles and heals with music, glass and stones. He also uses shamanic sounds and purification baths on the sacred slope.

It is the person's total commitment and faith that creates a healing connection between patient and healer. The vibration of tones, the glasses and incense bring about a state of ecstasy that evokes illumination, vision and hightened consciousness. Even serious illnesses such as cancer and brain tumours have been cured. There are no incurable diseases, only incurable attitudes.

Shairy Quimbo Don Jose is doing workshops and healings in North America this year. If you would like to know more about his work and schedule send an e-mail to josequimbo@hotmail.com or fill out and send the form on the next page.
